Romain Jerome Drops Its Latest Space Collection

The Swiss watchmaker RJ has partnered with three Michelin Star Chef Alvin Leung for the launch of their latest Space Collection, organizing a tasty surprise for exclusive guests in Hong Kong. What better way to discover these latest creative pieces inspired by space than through flavorsome food!

RJ's main highlights of the event, which is the RJ ARRAW 6919 collection, is a celebration of space exploration paying tribute to the Apollo 11 astronauts. Each piece contains authentic Apollo 11 spacecraft material that landed on the moon featuring RJ's first in-house moon phase movement that displays a three-dimensional moon rotating 360 degrees.

Each ARRAW 6919 watch comes with an authenticity certificate by the Assoc. of Space Explorers. The spacecraft material is encased with a super light, high-performance composite, created specifically for this task, which forms the timepiece's bezel. Marco tedeschi, CEO & Creative Director, looked to the Apollo 11 command module for design inspiration, creating a metal grid that would fasten the acrylic composite bezel to the case securely without covering the historic spacecraft DNA it preserves and displays.

The ARRAW 6919 comes in three different materials: polished and satin-brushed grade 5 titanium, ceramic and 5N+ red gold, and each variation is limited to only 100 pieces. Visit @RJwatches for more on the collection.
