World Gourmet Festival Celebrates 20 Years of Extraordinary Culinary Journeys


Bangkok's oldest international culinary spectacular has returned with a star-studded line up of world's leading chefs and a tribute to the City of Angels' world-renowned street food culture. So from 2nd to 8 September 2019, sixteen acclaimed chefs from all over the world will put on a feast at 20th Gourmet Festival in Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel. 

The Michelin star chefs line up insludes Wolfgang Becker from Germany, Alan Geaam from France, Kai Ho from Taiwan, Hideki Li from Japan Angel Zapata Martin from UK and many more. Each chef will host two dinners in the hotel's award-winning Biscotti, Madison, Spice Market and Shintaro restaurants. Along with that on 6 September 2019, Taiwanese chefs Kai Ho and Richie Lin will be joined by a much loved and respected local streets to stardom chef, Ian Kittichai, to prepare a six-hand collaborative dinner of six courses - two each of their signature creations. If that doesn't spell 'amazing' to you, I am not sure what else would... 

Also for the first time in World Gourmet Festival, Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel will showcase the city's street food with Bangkok's popular street vendors gather around the Parichart open-air garden courtyard featuring their fare in food stalls on the 5th September 2019. 

Foodies and budding and professional chefs can attend master cooking classes by the visiting chefs, where you'll have the opportunity to get up front and taste the specially prepared Michelin standard dishes.
